Today is alas the first day of Spring. With it comes great anticipation of new life, and hope for some semblance of comfort as warranted by warmer weather. But such beautiful offerings may demand some action on our behalf. While some flowers automatically bloom byway of self-generation, at some point someone had to plant the initial seed. Now years later from that one seed, she or he is able to enjoy the pleasantries of their former action of merely sowing. All foliage and flowers however, do not self-generate but are seasonal, thereby requiring the turning of soil - the sowing of new seed - the nurturing of time ... It requires work. What are you in anticipation of this Spring that requires seed-action and toil - now, that you may enjoy later? If it's a relationship, sow that first phone call. Need a new job? Apply! But do keep in mind the following: The heartier the harvest, the weightier the seed, the greater the action required. Happy sowing! (1 Cor. 3:6-7).
