"Do not worry about food, clothing, shelter... Seek ye first the Kingdom of God..."
This is always most easiest spoken, or at best - when read. To find one's self directly in the midst of such a situation is horrifying, as it is human inclination to pursue relentlessly for some other means of livelihood to carry one through. However, when all dead-end paths lead back to the fulfillment of this text, it forces us to humbly ask our selves, "Are my pursuits properly prioritized; is God's Kingdom truly first in my seek?"
Having to solely rely upon "The Unseen Hand of God"is by far one of the greatest faith tests dispersed to the citizens of God's Kingdom, in this life, and is without question, most frightening. Nevertheless, eventual disconnection from our trusted human inclination, actually reconnects us to the grace and power of divine discernment; wherein we really do find all that The Kingdom has in store for us in the proper season; including life's most daunting lessons.
When doors close before you without warning and do not open, when the resounding sound of many "Nos" becomes your anthem, when the very thought of trying to pursue anything remotely associated with your need - outside of God, brings you to your knees in prayer, it is a sure indication that the Kingdom of God has influenced you. Though it be intangible, keep seeking. You're getting hot!
